Where Paris Meets Amsterdam

At Bouillon d’Amsterdam, everything revolves around comfort food as it’s meant to be: familiar, honest, and genuinely delicious. Inspired by the classic Parisian bouillons, but done our way with Amsterdam twist.
 

From lunch until late, the entire menu is available à la carte. Small dishes starting at just a few euros, think classics with a nod to the city: a Kesbeke pickle where you want it, or steak frites featuring the famous numbered steak that’s been served at Die Port van Cleve since 1874.
 

Bouillon Service During the day, Bouillon d’Amsterdam also becomes Bouillon Service: the spot on the corner for good coffee, fresh croissants, and filled baguettes. Just sit at the table with a newspaper. Or grab it to go if you’re on the move.

A place where everyone pulls up a chair: for good food, good company, and a good story. Open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. For a quick bite, a leisurely lunch, or a three-course dinner, it is all possible. Walk-ins are always welcome, and reservations are also possible.

A place for locals, travelers, and everyone in between—this restaurant is the city’s dinner table. A space where strangers become neighbors, where long rows of tables invite people to sit side by side, sharing not just food, but moments. Laughter carries through the hall, glasses clink, and the rhythm of the room feels alive—just as it did in the early days of the beer house Die Port van Cleve in 1870.


Inspired by the spirit of a Parisian bouillon, the atmosphere is generous and unpretentious. Honest dishes, classic flavors, and the simple pleasure of a perfectly numbered steak served without fuss. It’s about coming together—no matter who you are—over good food and good company.
