Well, what we can we say.......we read previous reports and comments stating that so many faults were present at the Hotel......all we can say is that our stay was outrageous, fantastic location, fantastic food, fantastic friendly staff, fantastic room with a balcony view, spotless !, ok, so the shower hot water knob kept falling off, but how many times is the shower used ? and the previous guests may not have reported it, so we did. We WILL be returning.

Preparing to book my 5th stay at Die Port Van Cleve. Always sure of a good stay in a historic Hotel in a central Amsterdam location. Great staff and food too! Hope to be there again in July 2010.

Stayed here with my sister on the 6th of march 2010 and had a great time. I would rate this hotel a 10 as the rooms are good and clean and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
