The Leidsestraat, Kalverstraat, Nieuwendijk and Damrak are the classic shopping routes of Amsterdam city center. Here the department stores, boutiques and souvernir shops are located.  

The two main shopping streets in Amsterdam’s city centre are the Kalverstraat and the Leidsestraat. The Leidsestraat offers the more exclusive shops such as Filippa K, Karen Millen, Paul Warmer and Shoebaloo. The Kalverstraat offers the shops you would expect in a large city such as H&M, Mexx, Zara and Miss Sixty.
